Summer Tips and AdviceSummer Shrubs

Prune spring flowering shrubs - this will help new fresh
foliage and a second flush of flower. It is now a good
time to tidy foliage of spring flowering bulbs.
Remember the summer heat can take its toll on plants
so remember to water them often.

Summer Lawn

Look out for lawn weeds and treat with weed killer.
Apply a general lawn fertiliser.

Summer Roses

Roses are hardy plants which can pretty much
grow in any type of condition. You should trim all
of the bruised and broken stems off.
Young rose plants are pruned.

Summer Baskets

It is now a good time to fill hanging baskets.

Summer General

Best time to water plants is during the morning. Using compost fertilizer will give you healthy plants.
